The Venntis team pioneered modern touch technology in the early 1990s, which helped build some of today's leading touch companies. Now the team is improving PCAP touch technology to make it plug-and-play!
With simpleTouch, Venntis has invented a way to eliminate tuning for PCAP - a time and resource-intensive activity that is error-prone and requires highly skilled engineers. No longer do developers and module makers need to tune every new touchscreen design, benefiting from lower cost, lower complexity, and less time required to reach mass production.
simpleTouch is also inherently immune to manufacturing variance, allowing module makers to realize even larger savings in time and money by eliminating final tests in the factory.
After years of development, simpleTouch is now available to touch IC and module makers as the next evolution of PCAP technology.

Dave’s work in touch sensing began in 1990. He founded TouchSensor Technologies, which he successfully sold in 2007. He is considered the Father of Modern Touch Technology and holds 150 international patents in the field of touch. Dave is a true scientist and an entrepreneur. He developed simpleTouch, to solve the hardest problem in implementing touch - tuning!
